Education
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Emory University. My studies focused on ecology and environmental management. Along with my core science and math classes, I took earth sciences, ecological management and environmental policy. These courses were a combination of lab and field experiences that created a solid foundation for a career in Marine Biology.
My volunteer work, leadership roles and internships allowed me to support all of my coursework with hands on experiences.
My goal is to further my education by being part of a marine biology master’s program and considering continuing my studies for a PhD. I am pursuing programs where I will have the opportunity to contribute to research on habitat selection and the behavior of commercially fished species.
